Update as of December, 2008
UPCOMING EVENTS: Steve
Fisher is organizing the second annual class of 1977 ski outing at
Kissing Bridge on Saturday February 7th, 2009.
With less than two weeks to our ski outing, Steve put together
the following agenda:
Event Date: Saturday February 7th,
2009
Where: Kissing Bridge
When:
3:30 PM
Until: 10:00 PM (????)
This is our plan for the evening:
3:30 - Meet at KB Central Main Lodge. Stan has
graciously opened his chalet for snacks and drinks before we head out on
the slopes. It's a short walk from the main lodge or Stan said he
could provide a car pass so we can shuttle everyone to his
chalet.
4:30 - Hit the slopes!!! (Ticket from 4 PM to 10 PM is
$32)
6:30 - Dinner (Harvest Room or Willie's Smokehouse at the base of
the mountain)
7:30 - Back on the slopes
10:00 - There will be live music by Laughin' Bandit at
the Lake Effect Saloon that we could take in or maybe one more at
Stan's place. We can decide that night.
You may want to think about bringing a lock along for your
equipment. We don't want a repeat of what happened last
year.
Signed up for the event so far:
Scott Croff (Flying in from Texas)
Jay Forster (Driving in from Rochester)
Steve Fisher
David Gonyeau
Stan Grabowski
Bob Hartmayer
Louise Schultz
We would love to see as many
classmates come out as possible - skiers or non-skiers. For questions or
to confirm your attendance, contact Steve directly at:
sfisher0719@gmail.comCLASS DIRECTORY.
The latest version of the class directory
was distributed on December 16th to classmates who had submitted their contact information. If you
would like to be included in the next version, please fill out and
submit the requested information contained in the "submit contact
information" tab on the left of this page.
50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS LINK. We've added a new link
that chronicles 50th birthday party celebrations organized by
fellow classmates. There is not going to be a single large classmate
party organized to celebrate our 50th birthdays so
this new link is a way to track and publish smaller scale
celebrations. Feel free to contact us with your plans if you are
planning to invite other classmates.
UPDATED IN MEMORIAM
PAGE.
This page has been updated to include additional
classmates we have lost along the way.

ORCHARD PARK — In sports, perhaps no loss
is as painful as one that stems from a missed opportunity. And judging
by the frustrated, empty stares of the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks
football coaches Friday night, that’s exactly the type of emotions they

Playing mere miles from their school, the
Orchard Park Quakers scored a 28-13 victory over the Lumberjacks in the
Section VI Class AA title game at Ralph Wilson Stadium. It’s the third
time in the past five seasons Orchard Park has eliminated NT in the
finals.
“We made a couple mistakes
here and there and gave them short fields,” NT coach Eric Jantzi said.
“Good teams take advantage of that. They’re one of the
